The Italian Embassy is currently showing a exhibit about Leonardo da Vinci's arrival in France. While the exhibit itself was interesting, I was blown away by the beauty of the Hôtel de Boisgelin, built in 1732, and home of the embassy since 1938.
After the warmth of gilded decor, we took a brisk chilly walk through the posh streets of the area.
I find churches fascinating, and I love taking pictures of them. The half-light, the art, the damages of time, the serene atmosphere... very inspiring.
