Now cemeteries are NOT my thing. On a good day, the creep me out, on a bad day, they give me mild panic attacks. Despite it being a major tourist attraction here in Paris, I had only been once, when my friend Morgan visited from the United States and mentioned wanting to go. And truth be told, I did enjoy my visit - the place is truly beautiful and fascinating - but not quite enough to make it a regular haunt of mine. Until it recently came up in my photography group… and, well, the photographer in me won… I had a few giggles over some family names (I’m 12 years old, I’m sorry), was creeped out (a lot), kept grabbing my friends for reassurance, and managed to twist my knee slipping on a stone while fleeing some imagined spook. But… I did bring back some haunting photos, so overall a good afternoon!

A few people lost the main group and ran into one of the wardens.
Warden: Are you lost?
Lady: No, we’re looking for friends, actually.
Warden: Oh, do you know what lot they’re in?
